94 that they enjoyed teaching online. They found (4.5/5) the system tools were easy to
use and they attract the students as well. This parameter proves that microlearning is
a powerful tool to attract and retain the attention of the students. Also, the
participants approved (4.5/5) that students can learn quickly and teaching is easier
online because of the technology. The reusable objects and infographics are like
magnets which attracts the students towards the lesson due to its innovative and
interesting ideas. As a final point, the participants agreed (4.5/5) that they would teach
online again. There were a total of 26 questions in the designed questionnaire.
As far as practical consequences are concerned, the present research offers
insights for teachers, adult educators, mentors, and researchers in the field of teacher
training and provides an opening point for upcoming research on various features of
this issue. At the moment, teacher training seems to be a significant factor in modern
education of Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi Vision 2030 talks about providing the young
generation with digital skills. Microteachings’ role can open the door for training
programs that keep abreast of modern times and requirements and are in line with
the needs of development and the local and global labor market in partnership with
all relevant parties locally and internationally.
