Personal Safety & Self Defense for Women Age 18+
If you have only an afternoon, or even just a few hours to spare, spend it here.
You’ll learn the most important lesson: that you have choices. In a single
session you’ll learn about real risks, assailant tricks, crucial targets, and how SPORTS
to create an impact. Participants will learn about recognizing and dealing
with manipulations and ploys used by people you may know (including in
domestic violence) as well as complete strangers. EmPOWERment has never
been more fun.

Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services offers several adult sports
OUTDOOR leagues. Individuals wishing to participate in an adult league must
be 18 years of age. Registration is taken by teams only. Individuals
wishing to participate can call the Kent Commons office to submit
their name, sport, and level of play for the individual player list.
