A small club with many dynamic members with six district officers. Started with a lovely interaction with
the energetic President Rtn. Tony and Secretary Rtn. Adv Abhiash. Had a very fruitful Club assembly
with good discussions with all the members. During the evening function they recognized 4 outstanding
individuals with the Vocational Service Awards – Mr. Ajay Kumar for giving free physical training for
thousands of aspirants for the Indian Armed Forces. Mrs. Lakshmikutty , a teacher who contributed 2
lakhs to help a student build their house. 3 Mr. Surendran , a vigilance officer and recieiptant of the CM’s
Special Police Award and 4. The Kakkayur Recreation Centre for donating 3 oxygen concentrators and
other medical equipments to the Koduvayur Govt. Hospital during the pandemic time. A mobile phone
was also donated to the Koduvayur Secondary School . They handed over a contribution of Rs.20,000 to
the Rotary Foundation.
The tall and handsome AG Hemachandran Nair who due to Covid could not attend but along with
GGR Rtn. Gopalakrishnan are ably supporting the Club.

After a healthy breakfast with President Rtn.Lesson John and Secretary Rtn. Joy Kollanur Inaugurated
the Covid ICU ward at Jubilee Mission Hospital, a 46500 $ Global Grant project by the club. The evening
function was very lively and well organized. Special mention is needed of Rtn. Dr.Shyam and his partner
Anjana who participated in the Rotary IFMR motorcycling trip from Kanayakumari to Kashmir spreading
the good work of Rotary all through their trip with a lovely experience of interacting and connecting with
Rotarians. This lovely Club has also promised to contribute to the Foundation and achieve the 100% PHF
Club status. The club can boast of 9 District officers from its club. Recognized all the members of the
club with the MPHF pin.
AG Rtn.Manoj Pushkaran and GGR Rtn.Udaykumar are actively invovled.
