On Tuesday morning, the students spent time panning for gold in the creek before heading down into the Red Hill Mine. After lunch, they learned about how times have changed and experienced how to write using a quill. The afternoon was spent exploring the town and hearing some of the demonstrations on crafting a horseshoe and wagon wheel, before exploring the town at night.
The final day of the camp included a Secret Chamber Mine tour and a Gold Exploration tour with some more panning for gold. The highlight of the students’ final day, however, was a fantastic night show!
