THE STORY OF THE SEER OF PATMOS

                                             Stephen N. Haskell

“Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at
                                              hand” Revelation 22:10.

               deliverance; but to-day, without exception,

those nations are returning their allegiance to

the dethroned queen, who only waits the

opportune moment to resume her seat and

               her crown.

The hatred which Europe once manifested

toward the central ecclesiastical power is fast

disappearing; and before the outpouring of

the plagues, there will be general agreement

to exalt Rome. Rome to-day stands as the

arbiter of nations. She is regaining her crown

by the same method by which she at first

received it. One nation after another bows

before her throne, and recognizes the

woman’s right to ride the beast. The wealth of

all nations is about to be given into her hands.
