He was unjustly arrested, judged
and led away to die.
Hid death was the most shameful
death.
His death was the most cruel
death.
He died upon the cross as a
malefactor, completely naked.
He died as a condemned criminal
suspended between the heavens and
the earth.
He died a lingering death of shame.
He was exposed to the taunting
and reviling of a debased, crime-
loaded profligate multitude.
He was laughed to scorn: “they
shoot out the lips and shake the
head” (Psalm 22:7).
He was numbered with the
transgressors.
He expired amid derision.
His family disowned Him.
He was forced to see the sword
pierced His mother’s heart.
