that of humanity. Hopeful thoughts of My
resurrection, of which I had previously
spoken with such confidence to My disciples,
begin to fade from view, receding to the other
side of the darkness. Yet I did not relent. My
back was not against a wall. My soul was not
held to the flame by a forceful hand beyond
My control. I was free to love or to hate, to
embrace or to abandon. And that freedom to
choose puts My love to the ultimate test.
When faced with the ultimate decision to
preserve My life at the loss of humanity or to
save humanity at the loss of SELF, I CHOSE
YOU! I CHOSE HUMANITY! I CHOSE TO SAVE
MANKIND AT ANY COST TO MYSELF. THIS IS
THE ESSENCE OF MY CHARACTER OF
SELFLESS LOVE! I DIED THE SECOND
DEATH, THE SOUL DEATH, TO SAVE YOUR
SOUL.
