[ NYSAPLS Board of Directors Meeting • November 15, 2024
Virtual Meeting
Meeting called to order at 2:02 p.m. by Consent Calendar
President Jeremy Thompson. Minutes of the last Board of Directors meeting, Financial Reports, and
Committee Reports/Minutes were included in the handouts distributed
Attendance: prior to the meeting and are typically all moved under a Consent Calendar
format. Motion to accept the Consent Calendar was made by Don
Association Officers: Stedge, seconded by John Abruzzo, all in favor, none opposed,
President Jeremy E. Thompson motion carried.

Secretary William R. Eggers • Jeremy appointed Brie Meisler as the Tellers Committee for the counting
of ballots.

Allegheny Plateau Gerard Emborski • 14 Ranger School students are in the Land Surveying program this year
Black River Valley Howard Lyndaker and will be attending conference.
Catskill Absent II. Treasurer’s Report

City Saeid Jalilvand, Lemuel Morrison • Membership renewal dues are down slightly from last year at this date.
Delaware-Hudson Donald Stedge • Investments are doing well.
Eastern Brie Meisler, Jason Peterson
Genesee Valley Absent • A budget addendum was provided regarding the Spring Workshop
Long Island John Abruzzo comparing the costs and income for virtual vs in person workshop. This
Mid-Hudson Nicole Kalicicki budget projects equal income with either presentation. A virtual workshop
Mohawk Valley Absent will be held in the Spring of 2025. Expenses for a virtual workshop
Nassau Suffolk Scott Gillis are less, attendee fee is less and it is expected that there will be more
Niagara Frontier Joshua Graf attendees than for a live workshop.

Queensboro Absent • Steve reported on a case he had that involved an attempted fraudulent
Westchester-Putnam Absent land sale. He advises to be wary of this.
For 2024, seven regionals and two members of the executive board are required IV. Association Operations (“HQ”) Report

quorum). A quorum was present. • Very busy with conference preparations. Working on year-end review and
tax return.

LSPAC Absent annual meeting.
