NYSAPLS STRATEGIC PLANNING RETREAT

Embassy Suites, Saratoga Springs
May 12-14, 2022

The NYSAPLS strategic planning committee has organized a retreat in Saratoga Springs this May to
draft the next 3-year strategic plan. We are excited to gather together once again to brainstorm
new ideas, develop our association’s goals and “strategize” the direction and future of our
organization.

Each region has been asked to provide TWO participants: it is suggested to bring one current
director, and one “new” face (someone that hasn’t been involved deeply that could potentially
bring fresh ideas to the meeting). The event is FREE to attend, however, Regionals are responsible to
cover the cost of their participants’ overnight accommodations.

The Location:
The retreat will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton located in the heart of eclectic and historical
downtown Saratoga Springs, NY. This beautiful all-suite hotel features spacious suites with refrigerators,
microwaves, coffeemakers and separate living/bedroom areas. The property is located just steps
away from the shops and dining destinations on Broadway. The hotel features a fitness center and
indoor pool. Wi-fi is complimentary. All overnight guests will enjoy a complimentary made to order
breakfast each morning and evening reception featuring complimentary wine, beer a large
assortment of spirits, and hot and cold snacks.
