                            In this class we will look at and utilize today’s modern
                            tools for field and office processing of field collected
                            data for today’s professional land surveying projects.
                            Project planning methods will be reviewed and shared
                            between students and best practices for today’s land
                            surveying projects here in NY State will be reviewed
                            and discussed. Students will start in the office to
                            review the tools and options available to us before we
                            go out in the field. Best practices of field procedures   May 4 – Monroe County

        data will also be a part of the class. This class will be a “hands on” with
        lecture in the classroom and also outside participation to incorporate what
        was learned in the classroom.
        By the end of this session participants will be able to:
        1)  Incorporate some of today’s modern methods and available tools for project
           planning and processing of the land surveying field collected data.
        2)  Utilize the NYSNET GNSS Network for best practices then transition this   Program Schedule:
           to a GNSS Base-Rover setup.                                            7:30am – 8:00am:
        4)   Explain GPS Localization and how it relates to Land Surveying Projects.  Registration opens/Sign-in
        5)   Incorporate Total Station data into GPS and Project Data.            8:00am – 12:15pm:
        6)   Process and Edit the project data within the course.                   Workshop begins

                     About the Presenter:                                           (refreshments provided)
                     Mr. Hyman is the Regional Director at Carlson Software, Inc. for   12:15pm – 12:45pm:
                     NY and PA. At Carlson SW, Mike is focused on the Land Survey,   Onsite Lunch
                     Civil Engineering, and Construction market segments. Mr. Hyman   (included with registration)
