The Bihar-Jharkhand CISCE Regional Cricket
Tournament 2019 was held at De Nobili School,
Dhanbad from 15th to 16th September, 2019. In this
tournament, teams from Jamshedpur, Ranchi,
Dhanbad, Deoghar and Bokaro participated in a
head-to-head match for the grand trophy. Harsh
Verma (12-A) represented our school in the
Jamshedpur team and took
2 Wickets in the semi- final.
Jamshedpur team was also
declared the Champion of
the Tournament for beating
Ranchi in the Finals! He
was awarded a certficate
and a medal for his amazing
sportsman skills. Kudos!!!

The valour of the students of RV could be seen once
again when they took up the challenge to take part in
COGNITIO, an inter college fest organised by the
Mechanical engineering department of N1T
Jamshedpur. The team comprising Vivek Kumar of
X11 'C' and Harsh Verma of X11 'A' secured the 1st
position in the preliminary round and overall 4th
position in the finals. RV being the only school to
participate, the students knew that the competition
would be tough as their competitors were
engineering college students. This did not discourage VIVEK KUMAR HARSH VERMA
them, instead they embraced the hurdles with a bright smile.
