Its hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember!
Dr Rajendra Prasad was born on 3rd December at Ziradei, Bihar. Apart from being an
independence activist , lawyer and journalist, he was also the first President of independent
India. It is rightly said that "celebration is one of the most essential aspect of existence".National
festivals play a pivotal role in building a nation, it helps build social relations ,communications
and promotes a feeling of unity among the people. Our school celebrates Rajendra Jayanti on 3rd
December to commemorate Dr. Rajendra Prasad's birth Anniversary every year.This year Mr
Uttam Singh was cordially invited as the Chief Guest to grace the occasion with his presence. His
work has always been meritorious and par excellence.He is a metallurgist from IT BHU and
holds the post of Vice President in iron making TATA STEEL.
The main theme of the event was the wide spectrum of culture and folklore of Bihar. Bihar, has
given the world it's first Republic, nourished Buddha to enlightenment , given the world it's best
University , with it's diverse socio economic stratum, which was the main embodiment of the
program.
The students including the tiny tots showcased their talents by performing variety of folk
dance and songs from Bihar. The speech delivered by Mr Uttam Singh evoked a
spirit of zeal and enthusiasm in every student's heart. He ended his speech
by saying" Success is not an accident. It is hardwork, perseverance and
above all , love of what you are doing" which left everyone inspired.
