Meet the team

Vince Rodger

We’d like welcome Vince Rodger to Bayswater
Gardens. Vince started working with us as our
Property Services Manager on 6 September 2021
and walked straight into his first lockdown
experience. Vince has a certificate IV in building and
construction as well as a carpentry and
waterproofing license which just may come in
handy.

Some of you may not have had the opportunity to
meet Vince as yet due to the visitor restrictions that
we have been in place since his arrival but he keen
to meet you all and get busy with catching where
Greg left off running around the residence doing
repairs, hanging up art work, blowing away the
leaves and branches in the garden, tagging your
electrical items and lugging everything from
furniture to supplies throughout the residence,
which by the way he still can’t get his head around
the amount of deliveries our residence receives on
a daily basis. This comes from a guy who has spent
the last 30 years in the building and construction
industry.

This last year COVID‐19 has allowed Vince to spend
time with his beautiful family which has made him
realise he has been missing out on watching his 13 Follow Bayswater
year old daughter and 11 year old son (yes a pidgin Gardens
pair that’s why we stopped!) growing up so he
started looking for something Monday to Friday
that would allow him the chance to spend more
time with his family and until the kids finish school.
We were fortunate enough to find him.
This is Vince’s first foray in aged care and he has
learnt a lot and has lot more to learn but he is keen
and ready to get to work, maybe with the thought
of a few less boxes been delivered we are sure.
