Meet our Resident
Robin Spies

I was born in Sydney on the 12th July.

I worked in administration doing office work. I
worked for a leading accountancy firm as a
comptometrist which involved going around to
different clients doing their books. I was very
popular as I had done 10 years of piano lessons
and so was I very competent using the
comptometry machine which looked like this.

I worked in Canada for the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police for a short period of time.
I have two children, Dimity and Michael. Dimity
lives close by and is married to Bill.

I have always had dogs. My dog was called ‘Peter’.
I used to play a lot of bridge, but not these days
and I was a good tennis player in my youth.

I had lived in Hunters Hill for over 50 years and now
reside at Lansdowne Gardens on Wycombe. I like
going on the bus trips, particularly when we go
over to Hunters Hill and I can see my old house. For The Diary
