         Interview with Lee Marriott



         Group Care & Services Manager






           I started my career as an assistant in
           nursing, studying at the University of

           Technology Sydney.


           It’s surprising I was successful in obtaining the
           position because after my interview I was approached
           by an old lady who told me she had missed her bus
           and asked for a lift into town. I felt sorry for her as it
           was raining so I drove her into town. I was contacted
           about the position the next day by the Director of
           Nursing who advised me that I had been successful in
           spite of the fact that I had actually aided a resident in
           absconding from the home!
