Meet the Team

The Lovely Leisure & Lifestyle Ladies

At Lansdowne Gardens, we have three enthusiastic
and committed Leisure & Lifestyle Officers.

Firstly meet Ashara. Ashara began her first job in
Australia as a Care Assistant, but after filling in on
some shifts for the Leisure & Lifestyle Team, she
realised this was her true calling. She says she
recognised in this capacity she could really provide
much more emotional and personal support to
residents, so began her lifestyle studies. Now as a Ashara
permanent member of the team at Manns Avenue,
Ashara loves her days interacting with everyone,
bringing her special personal flair. She is always
cheerful, caring, full of life and the residents hold
her in high esteem.

Secondly let us introduce you to Sandhya. She also
started at Lansdowne Gardens as a Personal Carer
and like Ashara appreciated she was more fulfilled
in a lifestyle role. Sandhya with her well organised Sandhya
nature brings a sense of order and calmness to
activities. She is a very supportive, compassionate,
empathetic person who is well liked by our
residents.

And last, but of course not least, we meet Dana.
Dana has a deep interest in dementia care and is
continuing her studies in this field. Dana started her
employment at Manns Avenue but now works
primarily at Wycombe Road. Dana has a very calm
persona which works so well with residents who Dana
have dementia. She is patient, kind and brings a
wealth of life skills to her position. Follow Lansdowne
