SETTING GOALS AND NEVER GIVING UP

ON DREAMS

It was a rocky start at becoming a single
parent, but Latischa is determined to enjoy

life. She feels she has another chance of a

better life by being selected by Habitat for

Humanity. Her family will finally have a place

of their own, and her kids will each have

their rooms for once. She is grateful to be

the mom of these two intelligent kids and
knows having a home of their own will help

provide the stability they need.

Once LaTischa and her family have settled into their new home at The

Cotton Groves, she plans to complete her degree to become a

community liaison or teach ELAR. She knows many people have helped

them along their journey to homeownership and life in general, and

LaTischa says she would love to pay it forward and help others facing

the same life battles she has faced.
