Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
1 cup flour
¾ cup sugar
1 tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup cocoa
1 ¾ cup hot water
Heat oven to 350.
Mix first 5 ingredients. Beat in milk and shortening. Stir in nuts. Pour into ungreased
9x9 pan. Mix together brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour
1 ¾ cup hot water over this. Do not mix. Bake 45 minutes, invert on plate. Best served
hot with ice cream or cool whip.
