leaving Oundle, I studied Sociology at Leeds University, then attended Reading University to complete an MSc in Real Estate. I qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2016 at Cushman & Wakefield, after which I moved to the City of London

Rory Broughton: A philosopher once wrote you need three things to have a good life: 1. A meaningful relationship; 2. A decent job of work; 3. To make a difference. It was always that third one that stressed me – to make a difference. But I realise that I do. Every day we all do. It's how we interact, with our fellow man. I’m currently a recruitment consultant in London.
Tom Cator: I am currently working in property in Norfolk. I enjoy spending time with my dogs and on my motorbike.
Rob Cranston: I spent six months travelling around India and Sri Lanka before an enjoyable three years reading History at Oxford. This was followed by a thrilling four years in audit before I escaped to travel along the Silk Road from China to Armenia. I’m now back working in London and trying to decide what my next move will be.
Hugh Creasy: After leaving Oundle, I studied History of Art and Architectural History at Edinburgh with a year abroad in Santa Barbara, California. On graduating, I worked for Sotheby’s auction house for two years, before abandoning ship to move to Christie’s. I have worked for the modern British art department there for the last four years as a client strategy manager whilst training to be an auctioneer. I still spend a lot of time painting and avoiding anything that resembles sport.
Henry Fray: In the year following Oundle, I pursued what could be considered a promising career playing golf, which led me to America. However, like any good
Corporation to work as an asset manager. Having spent two years in my current role, I moved on to set up a new commercial asset management team at Berkeley Group, starting in July. Since Oundle I have continued to pursue my love
of athletics, which led me to be a torch-bearer at the 2012 Olympic Games. I am currently representing Herne Hill Harriers and Surrey in the long jump, in which I hope to beat my personal best of 7.10 metres and break into the top 30 in the country.

Oundelian, I found myself sampling far too many locally brewed beers, which thwarted any progression! After this I studied Sports Technology at Loughborough University (where I quickly learned that the dream of becoming a golfer was just that....a pipe dream!). I then worked in employee benefits software. As dull as that was, I cannot complain, as it led me to where I am now, working at Rackspace – a managed hosting and cloud service provider based in London. Recently, I have got engaged to someone well out of my league (I had to tie that down quick, as I keep getting told!) and plan on marrying in April 2019 in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
James Hartley: Six highly enjoyable years studying Medicine at UCL left me partied-out and penniless. Prompted by a pre-career crisis, I spent a year flirting with the idea of working with food and ran a mildly successful supper club in South London whist toiling in a restaurant in North London and tutoring in West London. After realising that kitchens were too hot and kids/chefs too mean, I moved to the South Coast, completing my foundation doctor training at Brighton and Worthing Hospitals, and enjoying trail-running on the Downs and swimming in the
sea at any given opportunity. In the past year I’ve spent four months studying tropical medicine in East Africa before working as chief medic for a gold mining project in West Africa. I’m currently planning the next adventure – anything to delay the inevitable soul-selling to the NHS!
Tom Milburn: After leaving Oundle, I worked for the local council doing administrative work and then went travelling with some fellow Oundelians to South-East Asia. I then attended Staffordshire University for four years, after which I pursued a career within the food and drink industry, and was a chef for 3-4 years, running gastro pub kitchens for Greene King. I soon decided I wanted to get some retail experience, with the wine trade being my main aim, but once I arrived at John Lewis, I saw the opportunity to progress through a great company, so I stayed. I’m now working within tech support at the flagship store and on the selling floor. Apart from that, a lot of my time has been spent streaming games and playing with some of the big streamers. I am currently playing for an Italian esports team, which I enjoy a lot. I live with my girlfriend in North-West London.
Alex Miles: I spent a gap year
