years. Last year we both changed jobs, I became a development technologist at BP and we relocated to Reading. This year we bought our first house and we now have a Dalmatian puppy called Pas.
Charlie Bradshaw (née Arnold): After leaving Oundle, I studied to be a vet at Edinburgh. I then worked for a year at Liverpool University, before moving to be a mixed vet in the Peak District, where I met my husband, Tom. After getting married, we decided it was time to move further north and we are now settling into life in Cumbria, where I work as a farm animal vet.
Tatty Bullard: Four years at Edinburgh were followed by a stint in Dubai (turns out I wasn’t made for the desert!) and since then I’ve been living in London with a few adventures in between. I’m loving London and am working for WeWork, which is a very exciting place to be. Hopefully, lots more adventures to come!
Camilla Capper (née Herbert): After leaving New House, I completed a Zoology degree at Leeds University and then a PGCE at the University of Oxford. I got married in South Africa a few months ago and live in London with my wonderful husband, Henry. Alongside private tutoring, I still love my running and see many OOs in London.
Bryony Harrap: After graduating from Durham University in 2011, I moved to London Bridge and qualified as a chartered accountant with EY. From there I moved to an infrastructure finance boutique in the City and have recently started a new role as a manager in the infrastructure team at Credit Agricole. Outside of work, I am still playing netball and hockey, and am ladies’ club captain (and chief tour organiser) of London Edwardians, a hockey club based in South London.
Fi Hilton-Jones: After leaving Oundle, I went to Durham University, where I gained a 2:1 in Sociology whilst also competing for the
university’s hockey and netball teams. I have worked at a sports agency since 2012, Wasserman Media Group, where I manage professional golf players. It has given me a fantastic opportunity to travel the world, including Fiji, USA and India, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I’m currently living with fellow Old Oundelian Henrietta Cranfield (K 08) in Central London.
Jess Hume: After tearing myself away from Spain and finishing my Modern Languages degree at Cambridge, I moved up to Nottingham and worked for youth and community charities, before joining the education charity IntoUniversity. Three and a half years later, I am now in Edinburgh, working for the university as part of their widening participation team. I am still part of the amazing Oundle School Mencap Holidays, helping run the Oundle holiday and the Mencap outdoors camping holidays, keeping me busy each summer!
Wen Ling Lee: I went on to study Economics at Bristol University after Oundle. After graduating, I travelled Europe and Asia for a bit, before moving back to Kuala Lumpur, where I currently work in property development.
Yih Lin: After leaving Oundle, I went on to study Economics at LSE, where I obtained both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I worked as an economics consultant in PwC London for two years and during that time I decided to specialise in the international development sector. I then joined Dalberg, a strategy consulting company focused on solving global development challenges, and managed a number of projects in emerging markets in Asia and Africa. Most recently, I spent six months with the Dalberg investment management practice (D. Capital) to start up a higher education fund in Kenya and Tanzania. In between jobs, I lived in New York for three months to attend a dance training programme. I am currently interested in pursuing social entrepreneurship and I am
considering moving to Boston to attend MIT Sloan's MBA programme this fall.
Lisa Olver: After thoroughly enjoying a year at Edinburgh and after much deliberating, I decided to take the plunge and join the real world before finishing my degree. I have been involved in hospitality for the last eight years. Having started working in a hotel, I now run and part-own a country pub with rooms. Any time that I manage to escape the pub seems to be spent watching rugby or on holiday somewhere hot!
Emily Scarisbrick: I graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont in 2012 and promptly abandoned all plans of coming home to the UK. I spent two years as a teacher and then found myself at UC Berkeley, studying Law. After three years in California, I now work as a lawyer in New York.
Plum Turner: I studied Politics at Edinburgh and spent my third year abroad at the University of California Santa Barbara, where I also qualified as a private pilot! Following university, I helped launch Oppo Brothers, a healthy ice cream start- up. I have now swapped ice cream for shoes and started a boat shoes business that protects endangered habitats around the world, called Two Degrees. I am living in London with fellow OO Charlotte Oborne (W 08), who moved in for two weeks...it’s now been four years!
Sophie Wilson: After Oundle I went straight to St Andrews, where I spent
five happy years studying French and Spanish, with a year abroad in Paris working in a florist. During university I became a member of their wine-
tasting team, which marked the start
of my fascination with wine. On graduating, I started in the wine trade
by selling into supermarkets, did my
wine exams and now work as a fine
wine buyer based in the City.
Currently living in West London, I still adore flowers, play lots of tennis and
very much count a number of
Oundelians as some of my closest
and oldest friends. www
