                                               create an impact – so make

                                               sure it is the right one

           Your image and how you use it is central to others perception of your abilities, skills and
           potential. It is amazing how quickly you make an impression on others. People are judging us the
           whole time and making decisions on whether they buy you or do not buy you. This includes the
           way you dress, communicate and present yourself. Life is less formal and people are more
           accepting of differences but they still make judgements based upon the culture you work within.

           But impact is much more than that - It is about your energy – what you bring to and what you
           give out to the world.

           You need to pay attention to your image and impact because:
           1.   In a service economy, people buy you.
           2.   To develop your career, you will need to sell yourself to others.
           3.   While adapting to the environment you work in, you need to stay true to
                yourself and know how to do this.

           4.   There is a clear relationship between impact and self-confidence — each feeds
                off the other.

           5.   Confidence is contagious – but so is lack of confidence!
           6.   You can create a positive energized atmosphere to work within through the
                impact you choose to make.

           Projecting the right image can mean the difference between success and failure. People want to
           find someone they trust, and they like. This is not about being an extrovert or introvert –that just
           determines how you bring yourself into a space. This is not about pretending or fake influencers –
           it is about being real, authentic, true to you and congruent with your values.
