Overt Surveillance =Primary goal is to affect the subject's behavior. Could be construed
as harassment.

Pretext = A ruse or a story given to disguise the investigators true intentions. Phone
pretext, door knock pretext etc. Though the term pretext has bad connotations, not all
pretexts are illegal. However, if your client is an attorney, it can breach their code of
ethics.
