Field Shelter Specification

Roof construction

All our roofs are built from C.E. Approved trusses that hold 100mm x 50mm Purlins (4”x2”) spaced at
220mm centers

The roof covering is Black ONDULINE roof sheets complete with one clear roof sheet per box.

The walls are built from pressure treated frame work 75mm x 50mm (3”x2”) spaced a maximum of

The external Cladding is 19mm x 125mm Tanatone Pressure treated shiplap for maintenance free life.
Internal kick boards are as standard 4ft high sterling board, full lining kits to line up to the eaves are
available as an upgrade.
Openings
Our field shelters can be built to suit your needs. We build our shelters as standard with an 8ft opening
at the front, this can be altered if required from a simple 4ft opening giving the horse more shelter from
the elements to a full 10ft opening.
All openings can be fitted with a galvanised steel 5 bar gate as an optional extra.
Opening side walls can be fitted with anti chew if required.
Combination
All buildings can be linked together to suit your needs, this field shelter can be added onto any of our
stable range, tack rooms or hay barns.

c. e. Our skids are made from heavy duty 4mm thick box section steel with heavy duty welded towing rings
