                        The acronym for playing contracts when there are

          C. A. L. M.   Add tricks from other sources;

           Drawing      When the declarer plays just enough rounds of trumps
            trumps      to run the opponents out.
           Majors or    Ì and Í. These score 30 points a trick and so you need
          major suits   10 tricks (6 + 4 scoring tricks) to make a game.

           Minors or    Ê or Ë. These score 20 points a trick and so you need 11
          minor suits   tricks (6 + 5 scoring tricks) to make a game.
                        To play a trump on your opponent’s winner is called
              Ruff
                        ruffing.
                        Declaring that one suit is going to be more powerful
            Trumps      than the rest. Example, “I go game with hearts as
