Review
In bridge after we have looked at our hands we hold an auction.
In the auction a call is a bid or a “pass”.
A bid consists of a number (1 to 7) and either a suit or notrump.
Dealer makes the first call.
The final bid in the auction becomes the contract.
Declarer is the first player of the side that won the contract to bid the
suit or notrump mentioned in the contract.
Remember that the lead is made before seeing the dummy.
