10.4 Activities of the WBU
Phra Shakyavongsvisuddhi (Anil Sakya), WBU Rector, was invited to present the
WBU Report and also informed of new emblem, and modified website. Moreover,
Charter of the WBU was amended and approved by the 92 EXCO Meeting in

order to make WBU a complete academic unit of The WFB and maintain spirit of
research. Meanwhile, he also informed that financial matters will be in the responsible
of The WFB.
The Meeting adopted the Amendment of The WBU Charter with acclamation.

The WBU Rector further informed that International Conference on ‘Buddhist Path
to Sustainable Development’ will be held from 4 - 5 December B.E. 2561 (2018)
at The WFB Headquarters of which prominent scholars from Asia, Europe, and
America will be invited to present their views and discuss. In addition, the outcomes
of the conference will be concluded and published into a reference handbook on
Sustainable Development.

The Meeting took note and approved of all matters.
