Knekiose swam thew crowds of merfolken till he spotted the girls. He weaved in and

out till finally he reached the lot of them. Who were starting to worry as to what was
going on, the Guards hadn’t spoken a word to them since leaving the palace. Knekiose

hurried, managing to swim right in front of them, cutting them off from going
forward. He said his hello’s to the girls. And then turned to the Guards. The guards told

him to move along as they pointed their weapons at him. Knekiose moved around the
weapons and over to the girls. “Haay, I was ordered by the princess to keep them safe
and to accompany them. I’m the girl's ocean guid and so I must go with them under

penalty of the Princesses Orders.” He told them speaking back in merchatter it made the
girls' heads tizzy. So the guards had no choice but to let him tag along.

As they were heading through the mercove Knekiose explained what was said and was

going on in the kingdom as well as from earlier in the throne room. He also told them he
would teach them merfolken chatter if they would teach him their hand signs they were

doing from earlier and what they called it. The girls agreed to it and everyone was
happy.

“It’s Chellejary’s mersign she made it up for us. She taught it to us while we were on
land. For the Humans like us that loved to be as merfolk back home. She wanted to give

them something to feel more merlike, with their fins at sea while on land.” Once the
girls finished explaining, the group came upon a big cave.

It was the first place the guards took them. It was the Oca shell impoream. Which

translated in merlauguage is Oca snieahfewich (Oak-aw- Sni-ee-aw-foo-ich) The girls
swam around oohing and awing at all the fine meraccessories from all over the oceans
and seas. It was way more beautiful in collection then any human shop they had ever

seen. Shells, old treasure, assorted hand crafted mer outfits, juslery and so much more.
“Come along guppies, we haven't got all night.” One of the guards shouted to them. But

it was in merfolken so they didn’t understand what was said. Knekiose had to translate
it to them. Besides that, if you ever heard the voices of the merfolken they are quite
thick in tone and garbled in chatter. So it would be kind of hard to understand them on

the first go around or two.
