They looked around and practiced trying to say some of the merwords. Later in the

shop they saw other merfolkens. Some had been watching them from afar. Or whispering
in gossip. One however was slowly inching their way closer to them. The girls were on

guard but tried to pay no real mind to them, they seemed harmless.. “Hello I’m
Torcanna. Are you two needing help finding anything?” He asked. He spoke human as

the girls and he asked them in their language instead of merfolk chatter. The girls
shook their heads. Trying to be polite. “Oh, alright let me know if you need help.” He
told them and watched the two as they swam over to the check out so to speak. “That

was strange, I had know idea other mers could speak that fluent in our tongue.”
Sirenamelosjhara said. Colshios Nodded.

The girls asked how they were to pay. But the guards told them that it was on the

King's order so they didn’t have the need to pay. They thanked the merman and swam
out of the shop with the guards. As they were leaving, Knekiose placed something on the

jellyhead counter and gave the mershopkeeper two sandollors and half a broken shell.
The keeper wrapped it up in seaweed and handed it back to him. Knekiose stored it in
his satchel. Then he turned and swam out the shop, after them.

The girls Teased him and tried to get him to tell them what he had gotten, but he

wouldn’t say. After a while of all the failed attempts they gave up on questioning him
and finding out all together. On their way back they were taken to the cove. Where they

were introduced to many of the merfolkens and aquatic biologicals. The girls had so
much fun. They even got a bubble snap from one of the Clam shops in cove so they

could take photos. They ‘loved’ it. Taking photos in a magic water bubble and learning
new merfolken customs was amazing.

Afterwards they were escorted back to the Palace. Knekiose and the guards took
them to the palace dining area. Where they had them sit on jellyfish topped seats kinda

like stools you would have back home. Except without them being alive and with live
stingers and tentacles floating about. It took a few minutes till the King and Queen
arrived. And there was still no sign of Chellejary. The girls began to worry a little.
