Conference Chair Mike Fisher and TCPN’s own Victoria Stringham are planning to rock this year’s
duck race with some once-in-a-lifetime fun! Don’t miss a minute!
In true AASBO fanfare, we will release hundreds of the most adorable rubber ducks you
have ever seen. They’ll paddle their way to the fi nish line and just might make you a
winner! Make sure you are around for the Duck Drop. There will be one race and all proceeds will
benefi t the children and families served by Downtown Urban Community Kids (DUCK).
DUCK’s purpose is to help kids develop life skills, in a structured setting, which promote
esteem-building personal relationships built on a foundation of faith. This is accomplished through
a variety of projects, activities and devotional time, with school and home visits an integral
component of the program. Participants commit to attendance and behavior guidelines. Activities
include homework help and tutoring; supervised computer time; art, dance, drama and music;
recreation and sports; science and crafts; fi eld trips.
We’ve set a lofty goal! 2,000 little quackers all swimming for the prize!
A $10,000 donation to DUCK!!
