As part of our Educational Program curriculum AASBO offers professional
development courses that provide 32 CPE hours of instruction. These
four-day courses are open to anyone who has an interest in school business

management.
This year, the following four-day courses will be offered just prior to the start
of the Annual Conference.

Budget & Finance
This course provides the student with a working knowledge of the budgetary
process in Arizona public schools and an understanding of preparation of
required state budget forms.

Purchasing
Purchasing
This course provides the student with a working knowledge of the principles,
processes, and requirements of school district procurement and materials
management. The student will be provided with an overview of the rules,
regulations, and statutes that apply to school district procurement. Through
lecture and practical application, the student will gain knowledge and
experience that will transfer directly to the school business office.

Participants will be provided with an overview of the responsibilities associated
with maintenance and operations departments and activities.

Early registration is $175 and includes continental
breakfast. The fee is $185 after July 8, 2021.

All three courses will be held at the Casino del Sol
Resort from July 18-21 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
each day.
Casino del Sol Room Rate: $125/night plus taxes on
the AASBO Block.
