as driver fundamentals, special needs student
transportation, district processes and procedures, MOST
and statutes and regulations that should be
presented in a school bus driver training class.
To date, the Leadership in Training Program has
completed sessions in Flagstaff, Pinetop and Tucson.
Seventy-six driver trainers from 53 school districts

With such a large turnout and positive response,
three more sessions are being offered in the coming THROUGH PERSONALIZED
school year. The dates for the upcoming sessions are: TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS.

In addition to these sessions, an advanced class  Facility modernization
is being developed for trainers who have completed  Improved environment
the first class. This will allow for further refinement of
training skills. A separate class is being developed for  Renewable energy
transportation directors and supervisors. Both classes
will be offered in the spring/summer of 2019.  Self-funding resolutions
Finally, there’s some additional good news:
Participation in the Leadership in Training program
not only provides driver trainers and transportation
departments with a new set of tools, it can also earn
districts 1 percent back via the Trust Loyalty Credit
        Program (for eligible districts).
