We have a strong legal affairs team for the size of company we are which ensures that we have no limit on the value of the deals that we can process. This enables us to explore every sales opportunity regardless of the relative size of the license fee.
In the factual space, although there are large, lucrative deals in Western Europe and the US, there are also many smaller, local channels in developing regions across Africa, South East Asia and Eastern Europe whose license fees are small. Our large business affairs team means that we can focus on high license fee deals as well as those with clients in developing regions.
Thanks to this approach, we have established strong relationships with many - often educational - channels which may otherwise have been neglected. As a result, a lot of our deals with channels in these developing regions are now very high volume with Off the Fence programming making up the backbone of the schedules.
