BULLSEYE PRAYERS That is the heart of God! It has been since the days of Abraham, it still is, and will always be. We are taught that we should seek the blessing of the Lord exclusively to bless others and not for our own blessing. This point needs serious emphasis, especially when we remember Luke 12:29-31. Luke 12:29-31 NKJV “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. \[30\] For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. \[31\] But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do you know that these scriptures sort of forbid us from praying to God to provide for our day to day physical needs such as food, drink and clothing? That is what Luke 12:29 says! We understand that our heavenly Father knows and understands that we need all those things. And He is willing, ready and able to make them available to us. However, the way to take cheap delivery of them is to ”seek the kingdom of God.’ When we seek His kingdom, we get all these things we love to pray for as add-ons. We don’t have to ask for them in prayer. 108.
