Overhand Knot
Let’s begin with a foundational knot, the knowledge of which will impel
you to acquire greater knot knowledge and feed your hunger for learning
knots for any fishing application and purpose.
1. Loop a piece of tippet or leader material.
2. Bring the tag end back through the loop you just formed.
3. Moisten the knot with saliva and pull both ends with equal force to
tighten.
