Improved Clinch Knot

Here, you’ll add one further step to the Clinch Knot, improving its strength
and creating the Improved Clinch.

1. Repeat step one of the Clinch, running the tag through the hook eye
and making seven, five, or three wraps around the standing line
(depending on the test strength of the fishing line—the stronger the
line, the fewer wraps are used).
