the building's wide staircase there are two rows of trees leading out to the
square, which the whole complex has as a unifying centre. The square itself is an
architectural masterpiece and has, of course, won countless awards. It is built in
white stone, now covered with snow, and in several different levels. On each
level, large, black stones are placed, making it next to rest areas. The size of the
pitch is like half a football pitch. To the left of the square is a large parking garage
for guests and staff. There are no cars parked. In the middle of it all, the fountain,
which is among the ten largest in Germany, reigns as the square itself an
architectural masterpiece that, even when turned off and snow-covered, instils
awe.
Tom has seen lots of pictures and video clips where the square and the fountain
have been shown, but in reality the whole complex seems much larger than he
had imagined. It leaves no one visiting the place in doubt that here is the
headquarters of one of Germany's largest companies.
He gets out of the car and gets into the BMW for the other two.
"We will be in here in a couple of hours, and I honestly expect that we will meet
resistance from the start. See!" he says, pointing to the one of the buildings
closest to him. ”
"The small door on the side is a fire door. There we go. Look closely at the door,
according to Olina's sources it is never used, the security guards probably forgot
it. The focus of the guards is just around the other side of the building, where
there are two large iron doors leading into the garbage rooms, and furthermore,
there are two double doors a little further along the building, which are used to
load things in and out of the building. These are the doors that are used today as
fire doors according to the fire service's reports, which we of course own. Wait a
minute, ”he says, opening his laptop. With a few clicks, he has opened a large
interactive map of the building.
They stick their heads a little closer together to better follow.
"That means we go in here, and then we go here," Tom says, pointing to the
map. “Here is the engine room, and it is the heating master. That's where we
arrive; we have to find and cut off the power that goes to building H.
”He clicks on the computer again and the screen changes to become three-
dimensional. He points: "Here is the room and the blackboard we need to get in
