Multiple-strand star knot

1 Bind five strands together with

a Constrictor Knot.

3 start a one-over Crown, anti-clockwise, started

here on the left. Form anti-clockwise Crown
Knots with each strand, the last one here to be
passed, top left, through loop.

2 Form each strand into underhand anti-clock-

wise half hitches and put each half hitch’s tail
through the loop formed next to it, clockwise.

4 Bring each end clockwise around a strand, aside

the next, here shown in lower right.
