3 Slip a ball or other core inside the first two sets 6 Now all the turns are tightened along each axis
so that the core is well and truly set in place

them with a loop, a True Lover’s Knot or per-
haps a Two-Strand Matthew Walker Knot.
4 Make the third and final set of turns at 90
degrees to both of the first two sets of turns,
completing the x, y, and z axes of the sphere.

phone.
