3 now wrap the right arm, the top arm, and the
left arm over the other cords. the left arm,
when wrapped, will have to be tucked through
6 straightened with each colour in its place, here
where your thumb is and under the two sets of
cords from the base. Here is the knot before being faired and
with pale lemon inside and golden outside. note
the cords that lie between each of the arms of
the cross. these cords must be pulled out to
form small loops in the finished piece.

4 tighten the crossings of your Crown Knot and arms of the cross.
lay the whole cross in its current orientation as
shown.

cords down over your
thumb again, continuing to
crown the arms clockwise
