termination.
(e) If an employee fails to abide by all requirements of his/ her
rehabilitation program and this policy, the employee will be
immediately terminated.
(f) Upon successful completion of the rehabilitation program, agreed-
upon stipulations will be discussed prior to the employee
returning to work. Random testing may be done post-treatment,
and may be done before, during, in addition to, and after
rehabilitation.
(g) Employees who test positive for alcohol a second time will be
subject to termination regardless of when the test occurs.
5. Positive Drug Screen. Employees testing positive for illegal drugs or the
abuse or misuse of prescription or over-the-counter drugs or supplements
will be subject to termination.
K. Education.
1. Supervisor Training. Big River shall require supervisory personnel
involved with drug or alcohol testing to receive training regarding such
testing. The training will include, but is not limited to, two hours of initial
training and one hour of subsequent training for each year said
supervisory personnel is employed with the company. The training will
also include information concerning the recognition of evidence of
employee alcohol and other drug abuse, the documentation and
corroboration of employee alcohol and other drug abuse, and the referral
of employees who abuse alcohol or other drugs.
2. Resources. A resource listing for mental health care providers, treatment
centers, and local resources is available to employees at Human
Resources. Note, such resources change frequently, and any list may not
be fully accurate.
L. Confidentiality of Records.
1. All communication received by Big River relevant to employee or
prospective employee drug or alcohol test results, or otherwise received
through the company’s drug or alcohol testing program, is confidential
communication and shall not be used or received in evidence, obtained in
