A tourism destination is the endpoint of the journey. But, of course,
we all have some goals in every field, so it’s the same with tourism.

There are various types of tourist destinations. They are as follows:

1. Centred Destination

2. Based Destination

3. Multi-centre Destination

4. Touring Destination

5. Transit Destination

Types of Tourists

When we visit a place, we find different kinds of travelers. The aim

of each traveler is different. Let us discuss the types of visitors.

1. Incentive tourist- These tourists did not plan for the tour

earlier. Suppose you have been rewarded with two tickets

from the office because of your performance. You and your

colleagues came for the trip.

2. Business tourist- This type of tourist travel for their business

purpose. They will always prefer a hotel with a conference

room. They don’t come to enjoy luxury, but they would like

the hotel to serve them everything on time.

3. Leisure tourist- This type of tourist comes to enjoy the

vacation. They love those hotels that serve them something
