The Biur Halacha writes that if one purposefully had no lapse of concentration, one should still wash one’s
hands, but without a beracha. He adds that the best suggestion in this scenario is for him to touch something
unclean (e.g., using the bathroom), after which he may wash them and recite a beracha.

One definitely needs to wash one’s hands again (similar to what ליעלדכו וידי לוטילו רוזחל ךירצ יאדוב
is written earlier in Siman 168:7), especially if he did not intend הלחתמ ןווכ אלשכ טרפבו ז”ס ח”נק ןמיסב
from the outset [that the washing should relate to his] eating. םש ראובמכו ,ךרבל ול ןיא פ”כע הליכאל
Nevertheless, one should not recite a beracha (as was explained הליטנה םדוק וידי אמטי הז ןפואבש ןוכנהו
there). The best option in this case is to render one’s hands :ךרבל לכויש ידכ
unclean before washing so that he will be able to recite a beracha.
