But now that they’re gone, I am aghast! A
brave little bird who stands proud and tall
Yet it is not bigger than a tennis ball
A brown body and stunning black eyes
It would spread its wings and soar through
the skies
But now it’s gone, only to live in the cold Yet
to do this, it was so bold
We must bring it back at all costs
We would suffer if it was lost!

Everywhere to go, nowhere to see.
The world’s vivid joy replaced,
By grey walls- a windowless train
Oh but listen carefully,
And hear earth’s heartbeat.
A rustle, a solemn beat, a pattering of feet
Marred by mighty engines greet.
