The dark gray clouds, with utmost haste

cover the bright red sky

Turning it an ugly pink

The birds of a feather huddle together

Knowing what will come

The crickets arrest their peaceful calls for

Mother Nature

For they know her warnings well

Tis not what one sees but what one feels

that makes the difference

Ohh, a storm's a brewing!

And I, I can not help but feel its wrath!

Tis a peaceful war

Or the maiden’s sorrow,

Expressed by salty tears
