Eight months ago, as i stepped

Out my door,
I saw the world i had always seen before.

The city bustling with a flurry of activity,

Gaily clad salesmen seeking Productivity. Telephone

lines cracking with Electricity,

Artists on the lookout for contended creativity.

School buses whizzing past me in a flash yellow,
Cafes with bright lights lining

Alleys, both wide and narrow.

Hawkers and peddlers

Announcing their wares,

Devotees at the shrine singing
The lord’s prayers.

Above me a murder of crows

Flew against the bright blue sky,

The same sky under which we’ve all

Said one heart-breaking goodbye.

The sun’s rays falling on the

Roof of my car,

A a day like no other normal

And at par.
