CADDIES

Caddies have been a crucial part of the experience at Hazeltine National since opening in 1962. Our caddie
program has primarily been composed of local college and high school students. Our membership has
loyally supported the Chick Evans Scholarship program, which annually awards scholarships to caddies
who have a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated a financial need, and displayed
outstanding character. We have been fortunate to have a total of 46 caddies selected for the Evans Scholarship.

Hazeltine Caddies 2019

Chandler Withington
Chandler is the third head golf professional at Hazeltine

National, following Don Waryan (1962–1975) and Mike Schultz
(1975–2012). A native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Chandler
was an assistant professional at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore,
Pennsylvania prior to joining the team at Hazeltine National.

Chris Tritabaugh
Chris is the sixth Superintendent at Hazeltine National. A

native of Albany, Minnesota, Chris has been Hazeltine’s golf
course superintendent since 2013. Prior to Hazeltine, Chris
spent six seasons in the same role at Northland Country Club
