A Bookworm Central Summer Program for Grades K–8
Project RISE is a DRA-leveled
reading initiative designed to
counter summer slide among
aspiring and vulnerable students.
Project RISE, an online selection
platform, ensures that all children can
easily access and choose “just right”
books from a curated selection of titles.
The goal of this program is to
provide equitable access to books
so students may have them on
hand to voluntarily read, for practice
and pleasure, over the summer.
Why invest in RISE?
