Light Action Pine Box Facility
Wilmington, Delaware
Structural design services for a new warehouse, office and production facility.
The project consisted of the following:
• 92,000 SF warehouse facility with a 5,000 SF mezzanine.
• 15,000 SF ground floor office building with a 10,000 SF elevated
mezzanine level
• 24,500 SF stage warehouse with 10,000 SF mezzanine level
• Covered loading lock level adjacent to the stage warehouse area. Samuels & Son
Samuels & Son Distribution Facility
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Structural design services for a new two-story, 60,000 SF, $15M distribution
facility. The facility consists of refrigerated/freezer areas, shipping and receiving,
office and reception areas.
Victory Brewing - New Facility
Parkesburg, Pennsylvania
The company’s headquarters is housed in the former warehouse building
that was once a Green Giant vegetables distribution center. Structural design Victory Brewing Facility
services were provided for the $30 million adaptive re-use of the warehouse
into a new one-story, 57,000 SF distribution facility. The project also featured
new office spaces, warehouse upgrades, loading dock access doors, egress doors,
a cooling tower and a new beer distribution cooler. Structural design services
were provided for a new one-story, 7,000 SF Fermenter Farm addition and a
new one-story, 30,000 SF addition to the existing distribution building for a
restaurant/bar, designed to accommodate future expansion. The roof of the
Fermenter Farm structure was designed to support 20 barrel tanks.
Food Bank of Delaware - Adaptive Reuse
Newark, Delaware
Structural design services were provided for a $10M adaptive reuse of an
existing 80,000 SF facility for The Food Bank of Delaware. It provides The Food Bank of Delaware
workforce development training opportunities in warehousing and agriculture
to help adults secure good-paying jobs. The project consisted of significant
facade upgrades, mechanical support provisions and a new second floor
expansion, two culinary kitchens, classroom space, a full-service bistro to
provide on-the-job training for culinary students, a community client-choice
food pantry and office space.
Amazon.com Distribution Center
New Castle, Delaware
As the first fulfillment center on the East Coast and employing just under
1,000 workers, structural design services were provided for a new 205,000 SF Amazon.com Distribution Center
single-story distribution center.
