University of Delaware Department of Engineering Laboratory
Location: Newark, Delaware
Design Statement: Bernardon provided design services
for a 5,700 SF state-of-the-art chemical research lab for
the University of Delaware Department of Engineering at
Innovation Way.
Due to the hazardous materials used in the facility, the design
team had to ensure that safety systems and procedures were
coordinated into the project design and construction. Also,
collaboration with the owner’s procedures and Facilities
Departments was foremost at all times.
