Inter-School Literature Festival

On 14th August 2019, Goldcrest High
Vashi celebrated the Remembrance Day
of our beloved founder Sri Vilasrao
Deshmukhji, by organizing the ‘Inter-
School Lit Fest’ meticulously planned
by our students under the guidance of
their mentor-teachers. The central idea
of this remarkable event was to provide
a platform to creative artists for
exhibiting their talents and create
inspiration through collective effort for
the young students.

We received an overwhelming response from our neighboring schools such as Avalon Heights, St. Marys (Kopar Khairane), Anchorwala School
and Christ Academy. Competitions like ‘Tinge Your Trash’, ‘Building Blocks’ ‘Myths and Monsters’, ‘Movie Mania’, ‘Folk Fiesta’, and ‘Recreate to
Reincarnate’ were the highlights among the various interesting programmes in the event. Big banners were put up in the premises as a décor of
the ambience. Registrations of the different schools of the participants accompanied with their teacher in-charge were done in the cafeteria. An
opening ceremony was conducted in the Multi-Purpose Hall.
The winners were encouraged with

Certificate of Appreciation and the event
also received a notable press coverage.
This event was a learning experience for
the students as they learnt the art to
develop and improve their skills that will
give them an edge over their peers.
